The bag is made from traditional Garo fabrics, hand loomed in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Garo people reside in the hills on the border of Bangladesh and India and are considered indigenous to the area, however are often treated as a minority group and face discrimination in everyday life.

The happy children of Thanapara Swallows!

As you can see from their beautiful smiles and comfortable surroundings, these children are well-cared for in wonderful conditions. 

Hope you enjoyed the cuteness.
Without this amazing handicraft centre, these children would not have the opportunities to be cared for in  a day-care environment. The children are able to be in close proximity to their mothers, giving them a chance to be breast-fed and their mothers the chance to work.
